Government College Malappuram (GCM) was established at Munduparamba in the year 1972 as the premier arts and science college in the government sector in Malappuram district. The college is affi liated to University of Calicut and offers 9 UG programmes and 7 PG programmes in Arts, Commerce, and Science. Nearly 2000 students are studying and 120 staff are catering them. So far, the institution has paved the way for higher education for thousands of youths who have been, in fact, the live presence in almost all walks of life in the district, the state, and the national levels. The lush 5-hectare campus houses modern facilities, labs, library, and is NAAC-accredited. College celebrated golden jubilee in 2022. GCM Mates UAE, the alumni group, was formed earlier and offi cially registered under AKCAF in 2025 with the leadership of Bindu James (President), Adv. Mustafa (Secretary), Abdu (Treasurer) and Sidique (AKCAF Rep) - a proud chapter uniting GCM alumni in the UAE.
Nestled on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river, MES College of Engineering,
established in 1994 under Calicut University, offers BTech, BArch, MBA, and MCA
programs. Its alumni are spread across the globe, with a particularly strong presence
in the UAE. Founded in 2002, the MESCE Alumni – UAE Chapter has grown into a
vibrant network of over 2,000 members. We've hosted cultural extravaganzas,
