The College of Engineering Trivandrum was established in 1939 and is the first engineering institution in the state of Kerala. With 8 full-fledged departments offering 8 undergraduate, 27 postgraduate and doctoral programs under the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, the College ranks among the top in the country in the quality of its graduates and the number of top jobs held by its graduates.
College of Engineering Trivandrum Alumni Association UAE chapter (CETA UAE) was founded in 1986 and has a strong network community of over 1200 members and their families. Our strong professional network has presence in various industries and different agencies within the country and the greater Middle East. The alumni engages in various charitable and social activities within the UAE and India. Apart from these, CETA UAE also holds various events throughout the year including its Flagship annual event titled “SMRITHI”.
In synchronisation with the philosophic and the futuristic vision of the
great saint Sree Narayana Guru, the Sree Narayana College, Sivagiri,
Varkala was established in 1964. The College is affi liated to University
of Kerala and ever since the inception, the institution has made an
indelible impression in the realm of higher education in Kerala.
Sree Narayana Guru was one of the greatest social reformers and
spiritual leaders who stood for social “Liberation through Education”
and the same was translated to a reality when Sri. R. Sankar, former
Chief Minister of Kerala and one of the prominent followers of Guru
laid the foundation of the College upon the serene hills of Sivagiri. The
institution has been continuing its mission as an inspirational source of
knowledge for the last 59 years.
The alumni association of SN College, SNCA was established in 2005 and
is a prominent partner of AKCAF Association with over 150 members.
Mahatma Gandhi College: A Legacy of Excellence
Established in 1948, Mahatma Gandhi College (MG College), Thiruvananthapuram,

of Kerala and managed by the Nair Service Society (NSS), the college has played

MG College takes pride in its illustrious alumni who have made signifi cant
contributions across various fi elds. Among them are some of Kerala’s most
celebrated personalities, including Padma Bhushan awardee Shri Mohanlal, actors
Jagadish, Madhu, and Murali, acclaimed fi lmmaker Shaji Kailas, and artist Santhosh,

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Venjaramoodu, Kerala, India, Muslim Association College of Engineering (MACE) shines as a symbol of excellence in engineering education. With a vision to equip young minds with knowledge and skills, MACE has become a transformative force in the region. The UAE chapter of MACE Alumni Association was formed in 2023 and associates with AKCAF with great spirit in all their events. Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering (SCTCE), Thiruvananthapuram, established in 1995 by the Government of Kerala, pays homage to the illustrious Maharaja of Travancore. Affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and approved by AICTE, SCTCE’s mission is to shape aspiring individuals into skilled technocrats through rigorous engineering education, training, and research. SCTCE offers a diverse range of seven undergraduate and postgraduate courses, catering to a wide spectrum of engineering disciplines. Notably, it also serves as a prestigious research center under KTU, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in the field. In 2018, SCTCE’s global reach expanded with the formation of the United Arab Emirates Alumni Group. This dynamic community fosters connections, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among alumni in the UAE, reinforcing SCTCE’s commitment to excellence in engineering education on a global scale.
